Electronics & Communication Engineering ABOUT

The department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 1973 with an intake of 20 and has been gradually increased to 75 from the academic session in 2000-2001. The department has made all round progress in the last 03 decades as a result of firm determination and constant efforts made by all concerned faculty and staff of the department.

The department started a part time P.G. Course in Industrial Electronics and Process Instrumentation in 1990. The full time P.G. Course in DIGITAL SYSTEMS has been started from the academic session 2003-2004.

The department has facilities to cater to the needs of the present day technology, and provides Internet facility using VSAT connectivity as centralized service.

The department has a sanctioned strength of 2 Professors, 3 Assistant Professors and 7 Lecturers.

The department also has IEEE students' chapter with a large membership and organizes an annual national convention TECH SRIJAN during even semester.
