BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (B.Tech.)
Admission Policy
The admission is open to candidates under existing Government policies for both sexes without distinction of caste, creed & colour. Admission to Bachelor of Technology, MCA & MBA courses is through SEE-UPTU.
Eligibility and Requirements for Admission
The minimum requirement for admission to the first year of the four years Bachelor of Technology courses shall be any one of the following :
Intermediate Examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry of the Board of High School and Intermediate Examination U.P. or any other Examination conducted by a Board or University within Indian Union recognized as equivalent to the Intermediate Examination of the Board of High School and Intermediate Examination U.P.
Note: Candidates who have appeared or are due to appear in the qualifying examination mentioned above are also eligible to apply and appear in SEE-UPTU. No Candidate shall be allowed to take his/her admission in case he/she fails to pass the qualifying Examination.
Allotment of Institution and Branch
The allotment of the institution and the branch of study will be made at the time of the counselling on the basis of candidate's merit position in the SEE-UPTU, availability of seats, the choice and the eligibility of the candidate at the time of his/her counselling. No subsequent change of Institution shall be permitted under any circumstances. However, in case of some vacancies occurring in the institution on account of dropouts, the candidate may exercise his/her option in writing for change of branch that will be allotted subject to availability of seats in accordance with his/her merit position in the first year (first & second semester) within the same institution only.
Reservation
The reservation in admission to the college is regulated by the reservation policy of U.P. Govt. The details of the same are brought out in the relevant brochure of SEE-UPTU.
Admission of Govt. Nominees
The provision for admitting the nominee students belonging to states lacking Engineering Education facility as reserved by Government of India are also available in the college as per quota allotted from time to time. For admission of such nominee candidates, at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics & / Computer are essential in qualifying examination (i.e. in 10 + 2 level or equivalent examination).
Medical Standards
The candidate should have good general physique with following minimum requirements of Physical Fitness.
| Height | Not Less than 1.5 meter for male candidates and not less than 1.4 meter for female candidates. |
| Weight | Not less than 41 kgs. for male candidates and not less than 37 kgs for female candidates. |
| Chest Measurement | Not less than 69 cm with satisfactory limit of expansion and contraction. |
| Heart and lungs | No abnormality. |
| Hernia, Hydrocele | Presence of any of these is a temporary disqualification and is to be corrected before joining. |
| Vision | Normal.If defective, it must be corrected to 6/9 in the better eye and 6/12 in the worse one. Eye should be free from color blindness (should be able to pass either signal or dot test), congenital or any other disease. |
| Hearing | Normal. If defective, it must be corrected before joining. |
| Physical handicap | Following types of physical handicap shall be permissible for admission to the courses shown against each provided further that the candidate should have only one type of physical handicap : |

Age Limit : No upper or lower age limit.
Award of Degree
The award of degree shall be made by the university on successful completion of the respective Course.
Note : The college reserves the right to cancel at any stage the admission of a candidate who has been found disqualified in accordance with the rules and regulations enforced at the time of admission or if the candidate has been found to furnish wrong information at any stage.
Fees and Other Details
Fee etc. as prescribed shall be realized in two installments, (Ist and 2nd) each year. Students will be required to deposit/pay the increased fee and user charges subject to revision by the University/College/Govt. from time to time. The details are provided at the end.
Note :
- (a) The students have to deposit the college fees and dues in accordance with the notifications. It has no concern with class or date of receipt of stipend etc.
- (b) If the student after depositing the fees for the 1st term withdraws his/ her candidature, the refund of the fees will be made as per college rules.
- (c) The refund of caution money shall have to be claimed back by students if they so desire. If it remains unclaimed for three years, it will be considered as lapsed and utilized for college development/work.
